Gunn has also addressed how the DCU's approach to Darkseid will differ from the Snyderverse, avoiding comparisons to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Thanos. Despite the progress, no formal cast announcements have been made, and Mister Miracle is still in development with no listed release date.
